Welcome to Retro Computer Hardware

After studying Computer Software Engineering at the University Of South Florida;Tampa, my focus began to shift to

Computer Hardware.

To Graduate from S.C.F in Electronics Technology

I had to wire wrap a Z80 based microcomputer from

Digital Integrated Circuit Chips and have it perform

perfectly.

I give credit to the Professors at

the College who Mentored me thru it all.

I Graduated with a 3.6 G.P.A

making the Dean's List.

It seems Computer Hardware has

traveled light years into the future

since then.

Let's take a look back at the cutting edge hardware

at this time Circa 1985.

These are actual timer boards I designed for a arcade

game company back then.

Enjoy the Video.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

Logic will get you from A to B.

Imagination will take you everywhere.

FAMOUS EQUATION:

E= MC(SQUARED)

The  Mass of the Object

Times the speed of light Squared.

Where C or the speed of light Squared

is equal to

The distance light can travel in a unit of time through a given substance.

Light travels through a vacuum at about 186,000 miles per second .
